new businesses New in the White Stallion Center at 156th Ave. NE and NE Woodinville-Duvall Place is Gracious House Books and Gifts.
    The store hopes to serve as a resource center for the community and a place where customers can enjoy a variety of speakers, classes or read in a relaxed atmosphere.
    The community is invited to offer help and suggestions for improving the store.

    Jonna Harlan and Debbi Johnson of the Bothell area have formed J & D Designs, a wall treatment company.
    J & D Designs creates custom looks by layering faux finishes, sponging, ragging, marbling, granite finishes, and by stenciling.

    Bruegger's Bagel Bakery opened its doors Nov. 1 in Mill Creek, in Safeway Marketplace at Murphy's Corner.
    Bruegger's newest location, the 10th in western Washington, joins another local store in Canyon Park, and will serve customers more than 40,000 bagels per month.

    Cooper Electric has recently joined the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce as a new member. Located in Woodinville's Commerce Center industrial park, the company provides commercial, industrial, and residential electrical contracting service. It is known for its motor control and technical wiring specialists.
    Service manager Dean Lozano coordinates service vans which run daily on small to medium jobs, such as remodeling offices and stores, installing outlets, circuits, switches, receptacles, lighting, and wiring for computers.
    Estimators Lynn McLain, Dan Shiner and Gary Cooper bid and manage larger jobs.
