Seafair Special People's Cruise seeking volunteer boaters

cruise The Seafair Foundation Special People's Holiday Cruise takes to the waters of Lake Washington and Lake Union Sunday, Dec. 3, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
    The event still needs volunteer boaters to donate their boats and their time to treat the more than 2,500 developmentally disabled guests to their ride of a lifetime. Powerboats 26 feet and longer are needed to participate.
    The boats will depart from 12 docks in the Greater Seattle area Dec. 3 around 3 p.m.
    The special guests enjoy caroling, snacks and small gifts during their cruise. They can see Santa and his reindeer jet skiing alongside their boats! To register a special guest, contact your local county Parks and Recreation Department.
    A special spectator viewing section will be at the Waterfront Activities Center on the Montlake Cut near Husky Stadium.
    Spectators can enjoy caroling, hot coffee and cocoa and a visit from Santa. Parking will be free in the Husky Stadium south lot.
