Members of the Cottage Lake Presbyterian Church choir helped brighten a past holiday for the homeless at Union Gospel Mission.
Union Gospel Mission is asking for volunteers to come and share their signing, card making, and cooking talents with homeless men, women, and children as they wait for meals at the mission.
The volunteer carolers, card makers, and cookie bakers are asked to contact Jo Martin at (206) 622-1528.
Caroling will take place from 5-6:30 p.m Dec. 11-Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, at the Men's Shelter, downtown Seattle, 318 2nd Ave. Ext. So.
An average of 1,200 meals are served every day to the homeless at the mission.
