Aviator Ales ships out first batches

Aviator Ales With the installation of a high-speed German bottling line completed, the first batches of Woodinville-based Aviator Ales are ready to be shipped out, with the first 3,000 cases labeled "Collectors Edition 1995."
Batches of Aviator Amber Ale, Honey Brown Ale, and Hefe Weizen are now being shipped to stores throughout the Puget Sound area.
A total of 150 barrels came off of the bottling line in this batch. Aviator Ales is also producing a small batch of Winter Seasonal Ale using a Scottish-style molasses.
Availability on the first collector's edition bottling is limited, and the company's shareholders have already purchased many bottles. Larry's Market, QFC, Albertson's, Top Foods, and Thrifty are stocking the collector's bottles.
Fifty barrels in draft kegs were also sent to taverns.
The new Seattle brewery held its shareholders showing in October, bringing 4,500 people to their Woodinville location.
Aviator Ales is located at 14316 NE 203rd St. Woodinville, and brewery General Manager Dusty Wyant said they are expecting to have a Grand Opening Party in early 1996. For private tour information, call Wyant at 487-0717.
