Karate kids kick for homeless

A young karate student at Kick of Life participates in the Kick-a-Thon for the homeless.

Kick-a-Thon Kick of Life American Karate Studio held its first annual Kick-a-Thon for the homeless on November 17.
Family, friends, and local business owners sponsored the kicks of 25 students who participated. For every 20 kicks thrown by a student in a two-minute period, sponsors donated a can of food or household good.
A total of 3,750 sponsored kicks raised more than 85 bags of food and goods. All donations were given to the Multi-Service Center for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
