paintings An art exhibit at the Northshore Senior Center is the result of Inger Heideman's return to her true love.
Many years ago Heideman painted and exhibited many of her works, but when she became a full-time mother and counselor with the Seattle School District, her painting was put on hold.
In 1994, when she retired and her children were grown, she described the "joy it was to return to a lost art."
At the same time, Heideman, a Seattle resident, discovered the Northshore Senior Center, where she began taking art classes. She eventually began teaching a class at the center, which she describes as "one of the best in the area."
Her work includes paintings done here in the Northwest and also reflect her travels to Santa Fe and the Greek Islands.
