Community can have fun combining all its talents

Celebrate the Season Dear Residents:
Thank you for helping to make the City of Woodinville's Celebrate the Season holiday party a huge success again this year.
We may need another site next year to accommodate the hundreds of children and parents who enjoy our annual old-fashioned celebration with music, dancing, and crafts.
Many, many thanks to all those who worked so hard to make the evening a success: John and Helen McMahon and the Woodinville Lion's Club; seniors from the Northshore Senior Center; Dave Leggett of the Woodinville Fire and Life Safety District and his band of hardworking Fire Explorers; singing angels Ariel and Rachel Dorman; Sherry Erickson and the Leota Junior High Choir; Sue Warter and the dancers from Studio 1; Director Jim Rice and his brass and flute ensembles from the Woodinville High School Band; outstanding teens from Teen Northshore; the staff of the Woodinville Library; the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce; Olympic Nursery; and Molbak's.
Thanks also to those of you who contributed to our drive to supply homeless shelters with new toothbrushes and dental supplies.
Celebrate the Season shows how much fun a community can have combining the talents of all age groups, the volunteer efforts of both business and civic groups, and holiday spirit.
Best Wishes for happy holidays and a prosperous New Year from your staff and council at City Hall!
