Equine health topics presented in benefit series

equine health The Rainland Farm Equine Clinic announces its second annual Client Continuing Education series with Drs. Theresa Engelbert and Emily Butler joining Dr. Fleck and others discussing various aspects of equine health and therapeutics.
   The six weekly meetings will begin Jan. 4 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Little Bit Conference Center. Participants may attend any number of the meetings.
   Cost is $15 per session prepaid or $18 at the door on a space-available basis. Price for all six meetings is $75.
   Topics include: "Alternative Therapies and Your Horse," "The Horse's Eye and its Vision," "Neonatal Limb Problems and Their Therapy," "Performance Horse Nutrition," "The Lame Horse," and "So Your Horse Needs Surgery?"
   All proceeds from the series benefit the Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Program. For information or to register, call 483-2255.
