    Highlighting the pre-holiday games was a major upset as Bothell toppled crosstown rival Woodinville in boys basketball, 58-54, where Woodinville's coach Joe Meagher was ejected, in addition to the Cougar's top scorer Brian Trofholz being tossed out for a glaring foul.
   Bothell girls also topped Woodinville, 67-30.

Boys Basketball
   (12/15) Bothell doubled up on Interlake with a blistering 73-34 win. Jeff Nelson led the way for the Cougars, posting 13 points, backed up by Jeff Thompson's 11 points and Josh Karp's 10 points.
   (12/15) Led by Al Minahan's 18 points, Inglemoor trounced Newport, 63-50. Obinna Acholonu posted eight points and seven rebounds for the Vikings.
   (12/16) In non-league action, Bothell beat up on visiting Edmonds-Woodway, 71-60. Brian Trofholz led the charge for the Cougars with 28 points, with Todd Roach adding 16 points and Rod Westman 10.
   (12/20) Bothell gave Woodinville its first loss, edging them 58-54. Todd Roach led the Cougars with 18 points, followed by Jeff Land's 15 points. Setting the pace for Woodinville was Marques Tuiasosopo, who posted 16 points.

Girls Basketball
   (12/15) Inglemoor topped Newport, 51-45, led by Rose Connely's 18 points and Cori Enghusen's 11 points and 10 blocked shots.
   (12/15) Interlake narrowly edged Bothell, 44-42. Leading the Cougars were Becki Ashbaugh, who posted 11 points, and Nicole McCain and Jenae Krell, racking up nine points each.
   (12/20) Inglemoor topped Bellevue, 57-36. Leading the Vikings were Serene Smart, who posted 16 points, Cameo Webster, who racked up 10 points, and Rose Connely, who had 11 assists.
   (12/20) Bothell dropped Woodinville, 67-30. Jannae Krell led the Cougars with 15 points, backed up by Sara Raynor, who had 12 points and eight rebounds, and Nicole McCain's 10 points and eight rebounds.

Boys Bowling
   (12/18) Juanita topped Woodinville, 2,514 to 2,466. Leading the 3-6 Falcons was Steve Pertinger, who posted 607 points and a high game of 212.
   (12/18) Led by Evan Miller's 559 points and high game of 204, Bothell (4-5) stomped Inglemoor, 2,516 to 2,392. Jesse Wright led the 8-1 Vikings with 577 points and a high game of 226.

Girls Bowling
   (12/18) Issaquah dropped Bothell, 2,227 to 1,992. Jeryre Arnold led the 4-5 Cougars with 455 points and a high game of 162.
   (12/18) Inglemoor toed the line against Woodinville, edging them 2,218 to 1,702. Sarah Carter led the 9-0 Vikings, posting 464 points and a high game of 176. Corinda Behler led the 2-7 Falcons with 383 points and a high game of 151.

Boys Swimming
   (12/19) Inglemoor passed Juanita, 95-88, led by Kevin Zatloukal, who posted wins in the 200 IM and 100 fly and swam legs on two relays. Ryan Leak also posted wins, taking the 200 free and the 100 backstroke.
   (12/19) Bothell won a close one, narrowly edging Redmond, 112-64, led by Tyler Smith, who posted victories in the 200 IM and the 500 free, and Nico Zenger, who took the 100 and 200 free.
   (12/19) Lake Washington topped Woodinville, 107-76. Ryan Freeman led the Falcons with wins in the 200 IM and the 100 backstroke.
