Hazardous Wastemobile at Lake Forest Park
The King County Solid Waste Division's traveling Household Hazardous Wastemobile will visit Lake Forest Park for a two-week period beginning Jan. 4, at the Lake Forest Park Towne Centre, located at the corner of NE Ballinger Way (Hwy. 104) and Bothell Way NE (Hwy. 522).
The Wastemobile will be open Thursdays, Jan. 4 and 11; Fridays, Jan. 5 and 12, 12 noon to 7 p.m.; and Saturdays, Jan. 6 and 13, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
King County residents can drop off their cans of used paint, paint thinners, pesticides, household cleaners, automotive products, and car batteries at the Wastemobile without charge.
Materials such as mothballs, some flea remedies, nail polish remover, and adhesives like "Super Glue" and caulk are also hazardous waste.
