Overlake has geriatric assessment
Senior Care at Overlake Hospital Medical Center offers a geriatric assessment program to help older adults who are experiencing complex medical, psychological, and social problems.
To qualify, a person must be 65 or older, have a primary physician on staff at Overlake, and have experienced a recent decline in health, typically marked by increased difficulty with everyday living activities.
Evaluations are performed on an outpatient basis by a multi-disciplinary team of professionals on Overlake's staff. Many costs are covered by Medicare; the balance is billed to the client. For more information, call 688-5800.
