King County Parks presents Virginia Moore in concert in a performance of "The Snowman" by Howard Blake, Jan. 27, 11 a.m. at the Clise Mansion at Marymoor Park. Moore's 45-minute presentations range from flights of pure fantasy and fun to explorations of historical figures, events, and social concerns. Storytelling and slides are complemented by live music played on piano or harpsichord by recording artist Virginia Moore. Audiences of all ages share heartwarming and sometimes hilarious experiences. The annual Great Northwest Tango Ball featuring the Tango Rhythm Orchestra will be held at Temple De Hirsch Ballroom, 1511 E. Pike in Seattle, Jan. 27 from 8 p.m. to midnight.
