Woodinville BPW sets Young Careerist competition

   On Feb. 12, the Woodinville Chapter of Business and Professional Women will hear a special presentation of Young Careerist candidates. The candidates will be interviewed by a panel of judges, and then each will give a five-minute speech to the members and guests present. The winner will represent the Woodinville Chapter at the BPW District competition on Mar. 9. For reservations and/or membership information, call Susan Horowitz at 822-6015.

Free business counseling

   Counselors from the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) will be at the Woodinville Library Feb. 8 to meet with new or established business owners to discuss management, financing or marketing. Appointments are required; call 788-7033.
