Politicians subvert the people's vote

votes subverted Concerning HB-2223: The real issue is, what part of NO didn't you understand! I, for one, am fed up with voting on various issues and initiatives and then having the politicians decide what's right for me and go ahead and subvert my vote.
We should have a law that says once something is voted on by "The People" it cannot be brought up again for at least 10 years.
The people have spoken on building a new baseball stadium and on the property rights initiative (R-48). Nevertheless, the politicians go on as if they never heard a word and proceed to tell us how we should have voted!
It seems to me that what we should do is call the Olympia Legislative Hotline at 1-800-562-6000 and tell them to vote NO on HB-2223!
Or better yet, to rip it up and listen to the vote of "The People" for once!
