On Jan. 20, near the 16200 block of NE 165th Street, a Woodinville resident returned home and found his mailbox missing. He reported that his mailbox had been severely damaged five or six times, twice in the last six months. The mailbox did show up, however; on Monday, the mail carrier returned it.
On Jan. 20 near the 15900 block of 175th Ave., a car stereo was stolen from a vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence.
On Jan. 21, a Woodinville resident returned home from vacation and found that someone had placed pornographic videos in his mailbox and on his porch. The victim waived his rights to the property and submitted them for disposal per police department regulations.
On Jan. 29 several storefront windows were shattered at a local hardware store. The manager reported that when he arrived at work at 6:15 a.m., eight windows were found broken. He said the alarm was not activated and that no entry was made. The windows were apparently struck by some sort of projectile, although no evidence was found. The windows had last been seen intact at 7 p.m. the day before.
