Metro to modify service on bus routes
Metro Transit will add some new bus service, revise some schedules, and begin a new timetable conservation program as part of its annual February service changes this year.
The service changes take effect Feb. 10. Timetables are available on buses and at Metro information racks at businesses and libraries throughout King County.
In east King County, Metro will add a morning trip on Route 272 from the Eastgate park-and-ride lot to the U-District. Route 931 between Woodinville and Kirkland will operate on Third Street instead of Kirkland Way, Sixth Street and Central Way. Trips to Woodinville will use Bay 3 instead of Bay 4 at the Kirkland transit center.
In north King County, Route 307 will provide new direct service to the North Creek Business Park and will operate on Northeast 195th St., 120th Ave. NE, and NE 180th St. instead of Interstate 405.
