Woodinville artisan exhibits at design show

Stusser armoire

A finely-crafted armoire is one of the signature pieces of Stusser Woodworks of Woodinville.

ART-cetera Stusser Woodworks, Inc. is one of a select group of invitees to "ART-cetera," the first artisan trade show of its kind in the Pacific Northwest, presented by the American Society of Interior Designers.
   Exhibits will be will be on view to the public from 10-5 Feb. 18, in the Seattle Center Northwest Room.
   ART-cetera will feature Northwest artisans who produce creative, functional, architecturally applied products such as art, accessories, metal art, millwork, cabinetry, floor coverings, and sculptural objects. The artisans participating were selected by a jury of professionals from related design and art fields.
   Stusser Woodworks, Inc. is a high-end custom wood shop specializing in unique pieces of furniture and furniture-grade cabinetry. Founded in 1987 by Steve Stusser, the company now has a staff of 12 craftspeople. Since its beginnings, it has done primarily residential projects, in locations from Seattle to Monaco, as well as commercial work.
   The scope of work ranges from entire furnishings to free-standing furniture, with crafters working closely with architects and interior designers.
