Woodinville youth is YFU exchange student
Michelle Pelletier of Woodinville has been accepted by Youth For Understanding (YFU) as an international exchange student.
Michelle will live with a family in Spain on the YFU 1996 Summer program. She currently attends Inglemoor High School.
YFU was established in 1951 as a private, non-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting international understanding and world peace through exchange programs for high school students.
Now, more than 40 years later, YFU operates exchange programs in more than two dozen countries.
In addition to the American Overseas Program, YFU offers families in the U.S. the opportunity to host an international student from one of over thirty countries. For more information, call 1-800-TEENAGE (833-6243).
