The Mar. 10 services at the First Lutheran Church in Bothell will celebrate the 110th anniversary of the church and welcome Pastor Michael C. Shultz Rothermel.
Events will be held between the 8:30 and 11 a.m. services. Sunday School children will sing and display special banners. Trudy Eichelsdorfer will present a history of the church's 110 years, and long-term members Blanche Peterson and Mary Berg will share their memories. Refreshments are also planned.
Pastor Michael and his wife Marillyn, who is also an ordained ELCA pastor, have two children, Karin, age 9, and David, age 5. The new pastor began his ministry at First Lutheran Sept. 18 with his first worship service on Sept. 24.

As part of a forum series, Northshore United Church of Christ will present "Theology 101," a Lenten study class on Sundays, Mar. 10-31, from 9 to 10:15 a.m. A light breakfast and child care will be provided. Call 483-6557.
