Event marks progress of UW-Cascadia campus project

campus project A reception Friday at the Wyndham Gardens Hotel celebrated the progress of the collocated University of Washington-Bothell/Cascadia Community College Campus that will be built in Bothell at the northwest side of intersection of I-405 and SR-522, the Dick Truly farm area.
   Visitors were able to view a model showing the campus and landscaping. The project is currently awaiting approval by the Army Corps of Engineers.
   Bothell Mayor John Curtin presented a proclamation to Dean Rose from UW-Bothell and Dave Habura, Cascadia President.
   Committee members who have worked on the project attended the event and were recognized by city and college personnel. Approximately 75 people attended.
