Spring brings Broadway hits to library concert

Broadway hits Usher in spring at the Woodinville Library with a relaxing afternoon of Broadway's best show tunes by the Broadway Hi-Lites trio on Sunday, Mar. 24, at 3 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.
The group features pianist Jerry Zimmerman, a regular entertainer at Seattle's famed Canlis Restaurant. He is joined by Soprano Cheryl Peters and baritone Jeffrey Smith.
In addition to the singers' individual solos and duets, Zimmerman will offer a solo piano medley. The trio's repertoire includes selections from such favorites as "Fiddler on the Roof," "Phantom of the Opera" and "Showboat," among others.
The concert is the fourth in the library's 1995-96 "Musical Sunday" concert series, underwritten by Deborah and Dennis DeYoung of DeYoung's Farm & Garden Center, Woodinville.
The series is sponsored by the Woodinville Friends of the Library. For more information, call the Library at 788-0733.
