It's time to spring ahead

   Turn your clocks ahead one hour when Daylight Savings Time begins 2 a.m. on April 7. Also, don't forget to reset watches, car clocks, VCRs, and timers on lights and security systems.

Gerard's celebrates 20 years

   Gerard's Relais de Lyon in Bothell will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its opening during the first week of April. In celebration, and to thank their patrons, owners Gerard and Sharon Parrat will offer a special six-course anniversary menu with a 1976 price. Price for the classic dinner will be $32.50. Friends are fun

   A new Camp Fire program teaching children in grades 1-2 about friendship is scheduled for Apr. 10 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at the Family Resource Center in Redmond. Cost is $12. Call 461-8550.

Save historic vessels

   Recreational boat owners will soon have the opportunity to help save and support historic ships by making a voluntary contribution when they annually register their own boats. Two vessels, the Virginia V and the Lady Washington, are eligible to receive funds under the program. Call (360) 753-7124.

Snohomish celebrates kids

   The month of April is "We Value Kids" month in Snohomish County. Celebration events include "YMCA Healthy Kids Day" April 13, featuring fun and healthy activities for parents and kids. "Young Victims! No Time to Say Good-By" is set for April 16 from 7-9 p.m. at the Everett High School Gym. There will also be an April 28 "Family Fun Fair" April 29 beginning at 11 a.m. at Forest Park, Everett. Club hosts dressage show

   The Hollywood Hill Saddle Club Dressage Schooling Show is April 27 at the HHSC Arena. Both club members and riders from the community are invited. Entry forms are available at local feed stores, at the HHSC Arena gate, or by calling Lynn Burch at 481-8376.
