FEMA invites public involvement

public involvement The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has issued a public notice providing the opportunity for public involvement in the decision-making process concerning FEMA's actions which can be expected to affect or be affected by floodplains or wetlands.
   The agency has determined it will "reimburse eligible local governments and state agencies for eligible costs incurred to repair publicly-owned facilities damaged as a result of the high winds, severe storms, and flooding in the state..."
   The public is invited to participate in the process. Persons interested in obtaining information on these projects may call Robert Freitag at the Federal/State Disaster Field Office at (360) 352-7077 between 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
