Puyallup Spring Fair
The seventh annual Puyallup Spring Fair, with its country fair atmosphere, will be held April 18-21 at the Puyallup Fairgrounds.
New this year is the manufactured home display and a Volksmarch on Saturday, where all participants will receive a free gate admission ticket upon completion of the walk.
Traditional Spring Fair attractions include the fire combat challenge, computer show, egg drop, and creative kids contest for ages 8-15. A community band festival is set for Saturday. A Washington wine tasting will be open to the public.
Also featured at the fair will be exhibitors, a petting farm, other animal exhibits, a carnival, rides, lots of food, and three entertainment stages.
The Daffodil Parade will run through downtown Puyallup along Meridian Street at 1:00 pm on Saturday. Fairgoers can have their hands stamped inside the gate so they may leave to see the parade.
General admission is $5. Juniors (6-12 years) are $3 and under six is free. Dollar-off coupons will be available. Parking in Fair lots is free. For additional information, call the 24-hour Spring Fair hotline at (206) 841-5045.
