Truck takes down power lines, two poles

downed lines Power lines and two telephone poles on NE 200th Street were taken down and power was cut to hundreds of homes and businesses in the Woodinville after a boom truck pulled out of a Woodinville business at 10:30 a.m. last Thursday with its crane still up, leaving the area without power for 14 hours.
   One of the telephone poles fell on a parked Volkswagen Rabbit, while the power lines caused damage to several other vehicles. All vehicles were unoccupied, and no injuries were reported.
   Police rerouted traffic between Woodinville-Snohomish Road and 144th Avenue NE while work crews completed repairs to the poles and restored power to the area.
