Power lines and two telephone poles on NE 200th Street were taken down and power was cut to hundreds of homes and businesses in the Woodinville after a boom truck pulled out of a Woodinville business at 10:30 a.m. last Thursday with its crane still up, leaving the area without power for 14 hours.
One of the telephone poles fell on a parked Volkswagen Rabbit, while the power lines caused damage to several other vehicles. All vehicles were unoccupied, and no injuries were reported.
Police rerouted traffic between Woodinville-Snohomish Road and 144th Avenue NE while work crews completed repairs to the poles and restored power to the area.
