Informed citizens made a difference
The recent showing of many informed citizens ready to testify about problems in the county proposed Regulation Reform package speaks both to the importance of having a mechanism by which the public can become informed about county proposals, and to the fact that there are many determined, caring citizens in King County.
Congratulations to those of you who put forth the effort to become educated on the subject and came and testified in front of the council. We did make a difference. The ordinance that passed was much improved due to our efforts.
