Wastemobile comes to Woodinville

Wastemobile visit The King County Solid Waste Division's traveling Household Hazardous Wastemobile will visit Woodinville beginning May 9 and will be open six days: May 9, 10, 16, and 17, noon to 7 p.m.; and May 11 and 18, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
   The Wastemobile will be at the Woodinville Park and Ride, 17800 140th Ave. NE, just north of the intersection with NE 175th Street.
   King County residents may drop off their cans of used paint, paint thinners, pesticides, automotive products, and car batteries at the Wastemobile at no charge. Materials can be disposed of only when the Wastemobile is open for business.
   Materials such as mothballs, some flea remedies, nail polish remover, chlorine bleach, and oven and drain cleaners are also hazardous waste, and residents are encouraged to bring these to the Wastemobile rather than putting them in the garbage.
