Home tours offered

   A self-guided tour of five homes in the Redmond-Woodinville area is set for May 2, 10 a.m-3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 the day of the tour. Call 869-0795.

Woodinville Water District hosts Spring Garden Open House

   On Saturday, May 4, Master Gardeners and Composters will answer plant and composting questions at the Woodinville Water District headquarters from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will also kick off Drinking Water Week. The first 100 families will receive free bags of Cedar Grove Compost. There will be children's activities, water taste tests, and hourly tours of the Water Efficient Demonstration Garden. The office is located at 17238 Woodinville-Duvall Road.

Colorful seminar

   "Lush Summer Containers" will be the topic for a free seminar sponsored by Molbak's May 1 and 2 at 6 p.m. Call 483-5000 for details.

Spring garden sale

   Lake Washington Technical College is holding a Spring Plant Sale from 9 a.m.to 4 p.m. May 3rd, and May 4th.

Check your blood pressure

   Free blood pressure checks will be given May 9 at Life Care Center of Bothell, from 1-4 p.m. Free reading materials will also be available regarding blood pressure and heart health. Call 481-8500.
