Play has message of love and hope despite tragedy
On May 2, [the Bellevue Christian High School dramatists] opened the musical Godspell. It revolves around the contemporary version of the gospel according to St. Matthew. A clown troupe of disciples follow Christ, having their ordinary lives changed by His teachings. And the stories and parables in the Bible became very real.
Personally, I have come out of these plays with a bigger heart, a broader mind, and a more sincere and sensitive compassion for others in this life. My heart has been touched in ways that can never be replaced or forgotten.
Come bring your family to see Godspell May 9 or 10 at 7:30 p.m. It will reach out and touch you with its message of love and hope, despite tragedy.
