Regrettable miscarriage of justice
As a dissenting juror in the recent Superior Court action by the former City Administrator against the current Mayor of Carnation, I want to express my personal regret for what I consider to be an inappropriate decision and a regrettable miscarriage of justice.
To fire someone for "lack of commitment and leadership" just five days after giving them a six-month employment extension contract seemed highly questionable, and I felt there was significant evidence of wrongful termination.
The next time Carnation has a mayoral race, I highly recommend that local citizens carefully scrutinize the policies and actions of the incumbent.
