Garden Club plant sale The Woodinville Garden Club will hold its annual spring plant sale May 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the grounds of Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville. Club members will be on hand, offering planting tips and answering questions.
As in past years, shoppers will find a wide assortment of nursery stock, including annuals, perennials, vegetables, and herbs. New this year is a special kid's corner stocked with plants that are suitable for a children's garden.
Visitors at the winery and shoppers are welcome to browse before 10 a.m., but no sales will be made before that time.
The Woodinville Garden Club devotes over 1,000 hours to this sale project, which provides funding for the club's many civic beautification projects, including seasonal plantings at the Woodinville Library, Evergreen Hospice, and Evergreen Vista Convalescent Center, as well as the downtown planter boxes.
