Bothell softball

   Highlighting the week in prep sports, the previously unbeaten BOTHELL fastpitch girls fell to No. 2 INGLEMOOR in a close 1-0, one-hitter game and to Juanita, 4-2.
   With the Viking win, in addition to the Cougars' 15-0 win over Lake Washington and the pending decision on the WOODINVILLE reschedule, final standings in the Crown Division remain up in the air.

Boys Baseball

   Apr. 26: INGLEMOOR stopped BOTHELL, 4-1.
   Apr. 27: Eastlake topped WOODINVILLE, 2-1. Redmond beat INGLEMOOR, 3-1.
   Apr. 29: INGLEMOOR toppled WOODINVILLE, 11-3. Redmond won over BOTHELL, 6-1.
   Apr. 30: Lake Washington blanked BOTHELL, 7-0.
   May 1: WOODINVILLE upended Redmond, 4-2. INGLEMOOR beat Juanita, 4-2.

Girls Fastpitch Softball

   Apr. 29: INGLEMOOR topped previously-Kingco-unbeaten BOTHELL in a close 1-0 game. WOODINVILLE crushed Eastlake, 13-4.
   May 1: WOODINVILLE cruised past Juanita, 4-3, in 10 innings. BOTHELL blanked Lake Washington, 15-0, in six innings.
   May 2: BOTHELL fell to Juanita, 4-2. Alaina Brubaker had a triple and a double in the matchup, pitcher Molly McLean had three Ks, and Shannon Fritzke, who came in in the fifth, had one K.

Boys soccer

   Apr. 26: Behind Dan Bordner's unassisted goal, INGLEMOOR toppled Lake Washington, 1-0. Eastlake blanked WOODINVILLE, 7-0.
   Apr. 30: Ryan Middleton scored the Cougars' lone goal in a pass from Lincoln Mangillo in a 4-1 BOTHELL loss to Newport.
   Charlie Hensel scored two goals (one unassisted, one on a feed from Justin O'Brien), along with goals by Jeff Dooley (from Adam Heck) and Steve Adams (unassisted), to push INGLEMOOR over WOODINVILLE, 4-0.
   May 2: BOTHELL tied Lake Washington, 2-2. James Tassani scored both goals, one on a feed from Mike Losh, and one unassisted.

Girls tennis

   Apr. 29: WOODINVILLE edged BOTHELL, 5-4. Falcon winners: Kelly Melton, Rebecca Armfield, and Kelly Lykken in singles; Melton-Armfield and Sarah Haywood-Cassie Katheryniuk in doubles. Cougars: Brianne Philips, Angela Smith, Jessica Moore, singles; Smith-Moore in doubles.
   Apr. 30: Mercer Island blanked BOTHELL, 5-0, Sammamish stopped INGLEMOOR, 7-0.
   May 2: BOTHELL doubled up on Juanita, 6-3. Cougar wins were had by Xenia Deleon, Brianne Philips, Angela Smith, Jessica Moore, and Katie Hopwood in singles; Philips-Moore in doubles.

Boys track and field

   May 2: In a matchup of crosstown friendlies, WOODINVILLE toppled INGLEMOOR and BOTHELL, 75-51-43. Falcon wins: Kelly (100 and 200), Christian Niccum (high jump), Cady (400), Bautista (pole vault), Dan Uffens (javelin), 4X400 relay. Cougars: Sam Eastman (110H and 300H), Jason Fryberg (1600), Jason Dougherty (800), and Patrick McAdams (discus). Vikings: 4X100 relay, Chea (long jump), Harter (shot put), and Kha (triple jump).

Girls track and field

   May 2: INGLEMOOR topped WOODINVILLE and BOTHELL, 67-60-34. Viking wins included Nicole Willis (100H), Hobbs (discus), Lewis (high jump), Demuth (javelin). Falcon wins: Woolman (1600), Willette (shot put), Brawn (400), Gerken (300H), Hughes (800), Beuler (triple jump). Cougar wins were had by Sarah Axley (100 and 200) and Michelle Axley (long jump).
