Fish monitors sought for Little Bear Creek
A group of area residents is looking for volunteers to help assess the fish habitat on Little Bear Creek between the Sammamish River and the headwaters in Snohomish County.
Volunteers will also be asked this fall to count fish, helping to locate the spawning beds, and restoring them if siltation has occurred.
The Washington State Department of Fisheries and Wildlife, the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe, King County, and Snohomish County will be helping with the project and coordinating with the volunteer group.
