Business and Industry features at Woodinville Business Expo

Connections '96, the second annual Woodinville Business Expo, promises to be an exciting event this Thursday, May 23, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hollywood Schoolhouse.
The expo, sponsored by the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce, features businesses and industry from Woodinville and the Eastside, with more than 40 displays of products and services.
"The purpose of the 1996 Business Expo is to provide an opportunity for local businesses to showcase or exhibit their products and services to the businesses and residents in the surrounding community," said Mark Spagnola, chair for the Expo.
Exhibitors at the Expo include Echo Falls Country Club; Redhook Ale Brewery and Seattle Brewing, both pouring samples; the Woodinville Weekly, demonstrating the Internet; the City of Woodinville; GTE; and Shoreline Community College. Stock brokers, temp agencies, and sign and furniture companies will also be at the Expo.
The number of exhibits has doubled since last year, and Spagnola hopes the attendance will double as well.
The Expo also marks the opening of the Collectors Cafe on the lower level of the Hollywood Schoolhouse. Lunch and dinner will be served. Items at the Cafe include lots of memorabilia from TV shows, such as Northern Exposure and the original jukebox from Happy Days.
Admission for the Expo is $1, or look for complimentary passes in the Woodinville business community.
The Hollywood Schoolhouse is located at 14810 NE 145th St. in the valley near SR-202. For more information, call the Chamber of Commerce at 481-8300.
