Speed has been determined to be a contributing factor in the injury accident which resulted in a car fire and three trips to the hospital at 4:10 a.m. near Woodinville High School on Saturday, May 11.
The 16-year-old male driver, who was not injured, was cited for negligent driving.
The other occupants included two 17-year-old males and one 16-year-old male, sustaining minor neck, chest, and leg injuries. They were all students at Bothell High School.
The car, a 1995 Plymouth Neon four-door, was traveling southbound on NE 205th Street and crashed after failing to negotiate a turn. Police say alcohol was not a contributing factor in the accident.
