Obituary: Leslie G. Gregory

obituary Leslie Gregory, longtime resident of Woodinville, died May 15 at the age of 71. Born June 18, 1924 in Hensler, North Dakota, Mr. Gregory is remembered as a man who lived his life devoted to his friends and family.
   He rose through the ranks of the U.S. Army, earning the rank of Corporal. After he left the military, he worked for 35 years as the receiving clerk of the Southcenter Bon Marche. He later retired to the home he built on his own.
   Mr. Gregory was an avid supporter of the unions. He loved professional sports, his family, and observing the wildlife around his home. He had lived in Woodinville for 48 years.
   Mr. Gregory is survived by his wife, Ruth; brothers Larry, Boyd, Don, Keith, Loren, and Bryan; sisters Cleora, Ardis, and Lois; sons Melvin and Randy; daughters Joyce and Beverly; and 11 grandchildren.
   The funeral service took place at Greens Redmond Funeral Home with burial following at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Redmond. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the American Lung Association of Washington, 2625 3rd Ave., Seattle, WA 98121.
