King County Police are searching for a suspect in connection with a midnight robbery of the Texaco gas station at 18800 Woodinville-Duvall Road on Saturday, May 4.
The suspect is described as a white male with brown hair and a brown mustache, approximately 35 years of age, weighing 140 pounds, 5 feet 7 inches in height.
Police say the suspect entered the station and asked for a mirror. The clerk directed the man to the bathroom, but instead he walked to the office and looked in. The man returned to the counter and the clerk told him again that the mirror was in the bathroom.
The suspect said he wanted beer and was directed to the cooler. The man selected a six-pack and placed it on the counter, motioning for the clerk to lean forward. When the clerk did so, the suspect allegedly told the clerk he had a gun and wanted all of the money in the cash register. The clerk then put the money in a bag.
The suspect grabbed several packs and cartons of cigarettes and put them in the bag as well. He then directed the clerk to the office, told him to wait 10 minutes before coming out, and ripped out the phone and attempted to block the door with a chair.
Anyone who may have seen the suspect is asked to call 9-1-1, or to contact local police.
