Religion should teach tolerance, compassion
This is in response to the WHS senior who was denied participation in a ceremony because he had not been "forgiven" by his own group of Christians for some mistake. By this act, it is ironic that these Christians are teaching their young to be intolerant and unforgiving.
Isn't religion supposed to teach us tolerance, forgiveness, and compassion? That is how I was taught. Maybe that's because I was not brought up in a "Christian" household.
