Community invited to participate in new school decisions

The Northshore community is invited to participate in the boundary and naming decisions for Junior High #6. Guidelines and a proposed meeting schedule have been outlined and a plan for committee identification and composition has been developed. Anyone interested in participating on the boundary committee must complete and return an application form. Packets of material, which also include information on the committee charged with naming the new school, are available at any junior high office or from the district's communications office. Call 489-6309 for more information.

Homeschool meeting set

The Northshore School District has organized a Parent Advisory Task Force, including parents successfully homeschooling their children, to help identify desired services to interested home-schooling families. The Task Force has scheduled a get-acquainted meeting for homeschool families at 7 p.m. June 18 in the Ricketts Auditorium, 18315 Bothell Way NE, Bothell. The meeting will help determine the level of interest and the types of services homeschooling families need.
