Bothell to celebrate annual Freedom Festival
As part of the week-long Bothell Freedom Festival, Country Village and downtown Bothell present a day of family fun June 29, 10-6.
Activities include the re-enactment of the Battle of Lexington, plus live music, artists in action, and a citywide sidewalk sale.
The Bothell Historical Society will have a hands-on display on Main St. including butter churning and vintage hats.
T. Wheedle will be at Country Village to greet children and adults and sign books from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Pony rides and face painting will also be available during the day.
A dedication ceremony for the proposed Regional Children's Theater at Country Village will be held at 1:30 p.m. on the site. A short children's play will be performed.
A free shuttle will run through the day between Main Street and Country Village.
