Help pull purple loosestrife

Cottage Lake is again the location for a purple loosestrife pull, June 29. Workers will meet at 9 a.m. in the Cottage Lake Park on Woodinville-Duvall Road and carpool from there. Work until 1 p.m. or until whenever you can. Purple loosestrife is a non-native, invasive plant which will take over an area and crowd out the Washington native plants which are important for wildlife. Call Eric Maia, 296-8024, or Gwen Maxfield, 881-7832.
