School district hires two new executive directors

  Thomas M. Dramer, Ed.D., will be the new Executive Director for Instructional Services at the Northshore School District.
   Dramer is currently an elementary principal in the Lake Washington School District In addition he has been an adjunct professor at Seattle Pacific University and a teaching associate at the University of Washington. He received his Ed.D. From Seattle University.
   He will oversee curriculum and instruction, testing and assessment, instructional materials, special education, and vocational education. He begins on July 1.
   Harry Vanikiotis will be the district's new Executive Director for Secondary Education, replacing Dave Rumppe, who is retiring after 25 years.
   Vanikiotis has been the principal of Cedarcrest High School in the Riverview School District since 1988. Under his leadership, Cedarcrest was named a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.
   He is currently a doctoral candidate (Ed.D) in Educational Leadership, Portland State University.
   He will provide leadership to Northshore's junior and senior high schools. He will begin on August 1.
