Pool will disappear without Sorenson purchase
Last Sunday afternoon, my daughter celebrated her eighth birthday at the Sorenson pool. Emily and her friends had a great time under the watchful eye of the YMCA lifeguard.
As I sat watching them, I wondered if we would be able to use the pool again for her birthday next year. If the citizens of Woodinville don't buy the Sorenson complex, this pool will disappear.
This is where Emily learned to swim; in the future, will other kids have the chance to learn here, or have their birthday parties here, or just enjoy an open swim?
I think the Sorenson complex with the pool, the gym, the ballfields, and the buildings is a good investment for the citizens of Woodinville. What do you think?
