Free class on waterwise gardening focuses on lawns

waterwise gardening Garden growers of all experience levels are invited to attend "The Healthy Waterwise Lawn" Seminar July 11, 7-9 p.m. at the Woodinville Water District building.
   Gwen Stahnke, Turf Specialist from WSU Cooperative Extension, will head the seminar with a talk and slide presentation.
   "The seminar is for anyone who wants to improve the health of their lawn and make it waterwise," said Debbie Ranfeldt, a Woodinville Water District representative.
   Anyone interested can bring soil samples to receive detailed information about their lawn condition. The free seminar is one of a series of nine. Registration is recommended. Call 483-9104, ext. 302.
