SilverLake acquires Woodinville site
SilverLake Winery announced last week that it has reached an agreement for acquiring three acres of land, located just north of the wineries and brewery in the Sammamish Valley, where they plan to build a new winemaking and production facility.
SilverLake has been operating its Sparkling Cellars location in Woodinville since last March after acquiring the former French Creek facility. The winery currently does its production at its Bothell location, but will be moving all production to Woodinville when the new facilities are completed.
The new location, 500 yards from Chateau Ste. Michelle on the west side of Woodinville-Redmond Road, will have tasting and retail facilities, as well as executive and administrative offices.
The company is the only publicly owned winery in Washington State, with approximately 1,300 shareholders.
