   Chaussee Siding Company, with the Carpenters' Trust of Western Washington, has completed Phase I of its first Siding Applicator Training Class at the Northshore School District shop facility in Bothell, focusing on construction safety. Students received certificates of completion and can now take part in Phase II of the program, a continuation of training in the field as trainee/employees.
   Dale K. Travis, D.D.S., received the Academy of General Dentistry's fellowship award during the conference ceremony at the academy's annual meeting June 30 in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Travis is in private practice in Woodinville.
   Boh Dickey, a Woodinville resident, has been promoted to president and chief operating officer of SAFECO Corporation.

Chamber luncheon features speaker

   Carolyn Logue, state director for the National Federation of Independent Business/Washington, will be the featured speaker at the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce monthly luncheon Aug. 13 at Chateau Ste. Michelle, 11:30 a.m. Cost is $14 for members with advance reservations; $18 at the door. Call 481-8300.
