Sanskrit lecturer speaks in Woodinville
Gyaneshwari Devi will begin a lecture tour Aug. 13 and continue through Aug. 28, with her lecture route on the Eastside including three appearances at the new ISDL Center in Woodinville.
The Lecture, Part I, will be presented Aug. 14. Part II can be heard Aug. 18. Part III is scheduled for Aug. 21. Times for the lectures are 7:30 p.m.
A workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 24 and a Satsang is planned for Aug. 25 at 7:30 p.m. Contributions are accepted for all events except the workshop which costs $25 and requires pre-registration.
The ISDL Center in Woodinville is located at 15227 223rd Ave. NE.
Devi's program includes Sanskrit prayer, chanting meditation, and a lecture on divine-love-consciousness, explaining how it leads to attaining the soul's contentment.
Her lectures are sponsored by the International Society of Divine Love (ISDL), a non-profit organization devoted to "learning the attainment of divine-love-consciousness by awakening the divine love in the heart."
