Woodinville Community Police Officer Kent Baxter took a silver medal in traditional archery at the Can-Am Police and Fire Games in the Tri-cities recently.
The games featured more than 1,000 competitors in 30 different events. Baxter competed against eight others in archery and upgraded his 1995 bronze in the event to a silver.
He plans to be at the Calgary World Police and Fire Games in 1997, where 8,000 to 10,000 are expected to take part in 60 events.
"I don't expect too much, but I'll be practicing," Baxter said.
