Road closures, repairs
The Snohomish County Department of Public Works advises motorists in the Monroe area of the closure to through traffic on High Bridge Road between the Snohomish/King County Line and Mount Forest Boulevard.
A one-lane roadway will be open for traffic after working hours. This closure will be in effect through Sept.13, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Snohomish County Maintenance crews will be making repairs to the roadway due to weather-related damages.
Any questions regarding this project may be directed to Snohomish County Road Maintenance Division at 388-3489. Detour routes will be posted.
In an update from the Washington State Dept. of Transportation, the recent warm, dry weather has speeded progress on a job to resurface seven miles of State Route 9 between Woodinville and Snohomish. The project actually lies between 233rd Pl. SE and State Route 9.
The work includes new guardrails, guideposts, pavement markings, permanent signing, and illumination.
