'Youth Involvement' theme of Kingsgate Day Festival

Kingsgate Day The Kingsgate community will hold "Kingsgate Day," its second annual festival, on Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kingsgate Plaza Shopping Center (the corner of 124th Avenue NE and NE 144th).
The festival's theme this year will again be "Youth Involvement," to reflect the community's commitment to its younger members and the activities that will be featured, which will include balloons, pony rides, and a dunk tank.
There will also be activities to attract older family members, such as arts and craft booths and entertainment. Local merchants will offer specials on their products and services, including dry cleaning and ice cream. The Kingsgate Station will be open, site of the district office for Metropolitan King County Councilmember Louise Miller and King County Community Police Officer Ken Williams.
Admission is free. For information, call 296-0397 or 820-8951.
